Another first event for me this year, The Brownlee Foundation Events Ripon Sprint Triathlon, a Qualifier for the European Championships 2027.
Excellent swim exiting the water 7th and not far behind legend Alastair Brownlee and right behind him exiting T1. Great bike course with mix of hills and fast sections then with a scenic run along the canal, ending at the racecourse. Another very hot event, thankfully I was in the first wave at 8.00 am. Finished 2nd in my Age Group with a Q2 for Kitzbuhel 2027.
