British Triathlon GB Age Group Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships
We travelled by road, taking the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam and the an 8 hour drive down to Munich. Spent time checking out the course, a dip in the lake and general familiarisation. My race was early Sunday 14th with perfect weather conditions. Second out of the swim and a great bike leg. Slight hic-up in T2 which cost me a few minutes and a patch up by the medics after the race. I wasn’t going to let anything stop me crossing that finish line. Pretty pleased with my results as I managed a PB at sprint distance despite the injury.
