My first time competing at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park in the Sundowner Olympic Distance Triathlon. An efficient 1500 M swim in quite a shallow lake and first out of the water, good T1 and onto a 40 K bike ride around local country roads. A good solid 10K run right on my PB.
Very happy with my result, 3rd place overall in the open and 2nd place the 16 – 29 age group. 1 more race to go.
