My second time racing at the UK Triathlon Race Series York Triathlon at York Sport Village. Not a bad race overall, strong fast swim right on my PB, both transitions went smoothly however the bike course was challenging with potholes and some uneven sections of cobbles which made going a bit on the slow side. Finished with a good solid fast run – 3rd in my age group, 8th overall – a good training race on the the lead up to Australia in a few weeks time.
