On the 10th July I took part in the annual charity Dragon Boat Race in York on the River Ouse. I was asked to join the crew from Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool where I work. ‘The Tadcaster Trojans’ absolutely smashed their 3 races to go into the final, finishing as overall winners taking the gold medal. It is great to be part of a fabulous team of people and was a very enjoyable and warm day on the river.
