This was my second time competing at this triathlon held at the Axholme Academy, Crowle. A solid pool swim followed by a blustery bike ride around the local area and two laps of a 5k run. A well organised event and despite the windy weather I finished 2nd in my age group and got a third place podium finish in the open category. Slightly faster overall than last years time but a good 2 minute PB on the run. Thanks to the Animis Racing team for a great event. See you next year hopefully.
Next stop Vichy, France for the European Triathlon Championships. This is what all the training has been for. Last one of the year then hard winter training in preparation World Championships in Australia in October 2025.
